In celebration of their 10th Wedding Anniversary our favourite couple Lerato (Son of Jerry) and Phetola Makhetha, affectionately known as The Makhs, debuted their YouTube Channel Life Is But A Dream : With The Makhs in September this year. The channel is a platform where they have created authentic content which celebrates love, marriage, purpose and the power of partnership. “Our desire is to create a safe space where people can share their trials and triumphs in managing relationships”, says the duo. The content on the channel is relatable, fun and strikes the perfect balance between witty lightheartedness and addressing more serious marital issues. The couples on-screen synergy is largely responsible for the pair rapidly reaching 1k+ subs and a highly engaged, loyal and growing fan base!
The couple is passionate about the advancement of African Business Enterprises and have displayed this passion both as a collective and as individuals. They have a keen interest in Fashion, Music and Business and collaboration is central to their content strategy. As parents of two beautiful girls (aged 7 & 2), building legacy is at the core of their mission and vision.
In 2019 the couple, together with their two children worked on an exciting and highly successful “Value Meal” Campaign with fast food giant, McDonalds. With the launch of their YouTube channel, they now have an additional forum to create more such content, targeted at women aged 25+, young families & couples. Link Below!
